This project was a master bathroom remodel of a bathroom that was close to 30 years old with all original fixtures, fittings and materials. It was badly in need of an update which was clearly visible when we demoed the bathroom and found a lot of mould and wood rot.
Our client wanted something evoking a peaceful and relaxing feeling, a place to unwind in, and with this bathroom that is exactly what she got.
For the materials we went with neutral tones and selected a 12 x 24 porcelain tile with texture to go on the walls and floor (same tile for both), and on the shower pan we went with a matt white 1” penny tile.
For the vanity we introduced wood for some warmth with a white quartz top to tie in with the white tub and white shower pan tile.
We chose brass for our plumbing, lighting wall sconces and accents, which pairs beautifully with all our finishes.
This bathroom truly is our client’s sanctuary, she loves every aspect of it, and she loves coming home to it every day.
